Artanrecords is a curated independent label, not an unrestricted upload distributor. We consider the music, the people behind it, rights readiness and whether we can support the project responsibly. An introduction, account or partnership preference does not create acceptance.
What zero upfront means
Accepted standard releases carry no upfront base distribution fee. It does not mean every service is free: additional production, artwork, advertising, external PR, domains and maintenance need an agreed scope and expense treatment. The written offer defines artist and label shares of eligible recording-side Net Receipts, permitted deductions and reporting. No payment is requested simply to introduce your work.
Your master remains yours
You retain ownership of the master recording. The agreement defines the licence Artanrecords needs to operate the release, its term, territory and permitted uses. Songwriting, publishing, live income and merchandise are not automatically included. Discuss notice, final reporting and migration before signing.
Choose the involvement, not a promise of success
Silver covers essential label infrastructure. Gold adds a defined release plan and presentation support. Platinum adds scoped project leadership and artist development. You may express a preference; we review fit and capacity before offering a scope. No tier guarantees streams, playlists, press coverage or income.
A considered pace
Artanrecords is founder-led. High-touch work is accepted only when there is capacity to deliver the agreed scope. We may discuss a later start, a narrower project or decline an introduction. Do not assume availability or a release date until confirmed.

The website is for discovering the label, comparing partnerships and sharing work. Docs explains requirements and responsibilities. Studio provides profile and website editing, visual projects, private release materials and release submission for label review. Production signing, financial reporting and payouts require separate activation. Opening an account does not approve an artist relationship.
