Revenue Shares for creative collaborators
Bring contributor roles, proposed recording-income shares, private review and versioned terms into one Artanrecords Studio workspace.
Create together. Agree clearly.
A recording can bring together performers, writers, producers, engineers and visual artists. Revenue Shares gives that collaboration a clear record: who contributed, what they did, the proposed participation and the version of the terms being reviewed. It is part of Artanrecords Studio, not a replacement for your release agreement.
From contribution to a considered proposal
Select your project or release, add a contributor and role, then propose a percentage of the Project Artist Pool with an effective date and scope. Track-specific proposals use the release's saved track identifiers. Validation checks applicable percentages and overlapping terms before the proposal is saved.
A defined pool, not an ambiguous percentage
A proposed collaborator share is a percentage of the artist's eligible recording receipts after the label share and deductions defined in the signed agreement. Unallocated percentages stay in the artist pool. A tier name or a public example cannot establish your account's commercial terms. Publishing, master ownership, company equity, store sales and subscriptions are separate.
Recognise the work without confusing the rights
Choose roles across performance, writing, production, engineering, visual work and project coordination, or describe a custom role. Credits acknowledge a contribution; financial proposals describe participation. A public credit does not automatically grant a share, and a proposed share does not automatically publish a credit.
Private terms. A clear response.
The invitation structure connects a contributor to the exact terms version shared with their verified email. A recipient can review their own delivered proposal without buying Studio Pro; other collaborators' percentages stay private. Responses distinguish acceptance, decline and requested changes. Preparing an invitation is not proof that an email was delivered.
Keep the conversation accountable
Revised proposals create a new version rather than overwriting the old terms. Effective dates, scope and the terms record remain available for review, with an activity history. Acceptance is not contract execution: binding signatures and active financial entitlements require a separate legally reviewed execution process.
Know what the feature does
Revenue Shares currently supports contributors, proposed percentages, scope checks, versioned terms and invitation review. Verified invitation delivery and binding contract execution require separate connection and review. It does not calculate payable balances, import distributor earnings, withhold taxes, send payouts or offer withdrawals. No money moves through a proposal.
Is Revenue Shares right for your collaboration?
Use it when you need a structured discussion of recording-income participation and a traceable proposal record. It is not a publishing-splits service, company cap table, bank account or instant-payment distributor. Agree the rights, revenue basis and responsibilities before relying on a commercial arrangement.
